So, when SG-4 and our cleaner were originally formulated, we had a pre-mixed neutral cleaner that was the component causing the blend to be the light green color that we all know. For about 10 years now, I haven't used that pre-mix, just the active ingredient. But, in the interest of consistency, I've been adding green food coloring to the batches. I've decided not to do that anymore. It's an unnecessary step, as well as ingredient. It adds no benefit to the mixture, either.
For those of you who keep bottles in your repair kits (possibly unlabeled, I did for years. I identified bottles by the paint splatter on them, it was like a fingerprint) and are concerned about mixing up cleaner and conditioner, you can tell by smell. The citrus smell of the cleaner is unchanged, and conditioner and protector smell like leather fragrance. Only the color has changed, not the formulation.
SG-4 and ADV Cleaner not going to be green anymore
